EP 85: Do I Need Social Media to Have a Full Bodywork Practice?
Every time I meet a new business connection, they typically ask for my social media handles. But, when they hear that I’m not on social media, I always get the same response, “Oh, I wish I could do that!”
Is it possible to have a full bodywork practice without any social media presence?
This is a topic I’ve pondered for a long time and have so many thoughts on.
Since I’ve had listeners write to me asking about their need to be active on social media, I wanted to discuss some pieces of my business journey with and without being active on social media.
No matter what marketing avenues you choose to take with your business, just remember to follow what is in alignment with your values and to do it with intention.
“What is your intention for using social media – is it to grow your business? Is it to connect with other therapists? Is it to give you an excuse to scroll all day while supposedly working on your business? I want you to ask yourself some of these difficult questions.”
