We continue this week with our Selling With Integrity series.
Although we didn’t sign up as salespeople when we chose to be massage and bodywork practitioners, we still need to be able to have a solid, intentional conversation around sales.
In today’s episode, I’ll share with you some mistakes I’ve made in the sales side of my business so you won’t make the same ones.
“If someone calls about an appointment, you don’t need to switch automatically into sales mode with the agenda of trying to get this person to book a session. Instead, I invite you to think of it in therapeutic terms. Just like in your therapy, come from a place of neutral. Just like we don’t want to force certain outcomes in our therapeutic work, we don’t want to force a sales conversation either.”
