EP 55: WHAT TO SAY When a Client Cancels

See this content in the original post

As a small business you may occasionally find yourself in sticky situations where you don’t know what to say or do. My students share these situations and we work through them together inside The Bodywork Project, but I wanted to give all of my listeners some guidance on some of the most common scenarios you may find yourself in.

I begin this series focusing on what to say when a client cancels an appointment. In today’s episode I’ll guide you through a few responses to help you to feel confident with your boundaries while continuing to be kind and intentioned with your clients.

“The most important thing is that you have a clear, concise cancellation policy. It doesn’t have to be really long; it doesn’t have to be endless. But you must have it in place.”

This week on the Do It With Intention Podcast:

  • How a clear and concise cancellation policy will help you to maintain a safe container for your clients.

  • Simple steps to take after a client cancellation so that you can simultaneously look out for the best interest of your client’s desires and your business’s needs.

  • Knowing when to bless and release certain clients, so that you can allow space for your most ideal clients in your practice.
